Health Seminar - October 2026
|
Dear Devotees,
Swelling in the feet or legs, or puffiness of the face, may seem like a common inconvenience—but sometimes it can tell us something more. This fluid retention, medically known as oedema, can have wider implications for our health.
Our next health seminar will take a closer look at oedema and help answer some important questions:
|
Title: Swelling of feet and puffiness (Oedema - fluid accumulation)
|
|
|
|
Speaker: Dr. Shiv Jindal, MD, FRCPC
|
Seminar Objectives:
1. What is oedema, and why does it occur?
2. What can oedema signify, and when could it be a cause for concern?
3. What can we do to prevent, manage, and treat it?
Day / Date: Sunday, October 11, 2026
Time: 2:00 - 3:00 PM
Join us as we explore the signs our bodies may be giving us and learn when swelling deserves closer attention.
All are welcome.
Thank you,
Organizing Committee
On behalf of Board of directors
