    Health Seminar

    Dear Devotees,
At our first health seminar on September 14, 2025, the speaker outlined the huge burden of Chronic disease, which is mostly self created. While there is no cure for chronic disease, it can still be prevented. Maintenance of our metabolic health and vascular health is fundamental for the prevention of chronic disease. This can be disturbed by many factors; most important being the food we eat and the sedentary habits. Our second health seminar on October 10 was on “What to eat; how much to eat and what time to eat”.
Our next seminar is on salt consumption.
    Title:                       Do we need salt?
Speaker:                 Dr. Swapnil Hiremath MD, MPH
                                   Professor of Medicine
Division of Nephrology, University of Ottawa
    Objectives:
         1.       How much is too much?
         2.      Negative effects of too much salt

    Day / Date:           Sunday, November 9, 2025.
    Time:                     2:00 - 3:00 PM

    All are welcome.

If you need more information for HINDU TEMPLE, please contact the Manager at 613-822-1531 or visit www.hindutemple.ca.
