There will be a symbolic fire ceremony in the Geeta Bhawan after the Aarti. Bal Mandir children and their parents will greet and direct devotees to the Geeta Bhawan. Traditional sesame seed-coated sweets and Pongal will be served at lunch time.

Lohri is a festival to worship fire on the festive occasions of Makara Sankranti. Fire is associated with concepts of life and health, and like water is a symbol of transformation and regeneration.

We look forward to your participation on 19th January 2020 in celebrating the LOHRI & PONGAL festivals which have great social significance and rich cultural legacy across India.

    Thank you.
