  7. The Hindu Temple of Ottawa-Carleton on 4835 Bank Street is happy to announce that the Bal Mandir Program has once again started. It is held every Sunday from 12:10 PM to 1:00 PM in the lower meeting room. The program consists of a variety of exciting activities for children, including reflection on upcoming festivals and events in the Hindu calendar, discussions on cultural aspects of Indian culture, stories, crafts, and more. Everyone is welcome.

As part of Canada 150th celebrations, FIO in collaboration with ICCC has initiated the project “Canada 150/150" to promote inter-cultural connectivity through greater positive interaction between the diverse Canadian cultures. This project is to bring together 150 pairs of host and guest families.

     

    Celebrate the multicultural fabric by hosting guest (s) from a different culture at your home for a day or few hours over tea/coffee.

    Guest can be a family or friend.
